Herminia Hernandez
Operations Coordinator
Herminia Hernandez joined The Prosthetic Foundation in January, 2021 transitioning from the Oil & Gas industry having worked for a Fortune 500 multi-national corporation. There, she worked various roles in the finance function ranging from inventory to tax accounting, and more.
She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting while also doing coursework in website design.
After completing her higher education in Venezuela, she decided it was time for new opportunities and ventured on her own through Latin America, ultimately settling in Houston, Texas.
Herminia enjoys playing sports and serving her community through various projects including church ministries, where she serves as Director of Children’s Ministry.
Today, she serves the Texas limb-loss community as Operations Coordinator of The Prosthetic Foundation. This entails assistance with grant applications, prosthetic facility case management, and keeping our applicants encouraged throughout the funding process.
“Realizing that helping others is what makes me happy, lead me into a journey of dedication and passion serving my community”.

Rebecca Martinez
Public Relations Coordinator
A graduate of St. Mary’s University, Rebecca has dedicated her career to helping organizations with their communications strategies.
She currently serves as the Director of Communications for Peripheral Vascular Associates.
Wife to Robert Martinez and mother to Gabriela, Rebecca enjoys traveling, Zumba, hiking, walking and reading during her free time.The Martinez family is one of the many families who found themselves adopting a new pet during Covid. Simba, a cat, is the newest member of the family. Rebecca has a strong sense and desire to serve others and to give back to the community. For this reason she shares her time helping The Prosthetic Foundation build awareness among a variety of platforms.

Yvonne Deleon
Webmaster
Yvonne Deleon has been in the IT industry for more than 25 years.
A San Antonio native, she was raised to love the culture and city known for the Riverwalk, Fiesta and downtown events.
She is a University of Texas at San Antonio alumni, graduating with a Computer Science degree in 1995. Her career began as a systems programmer for USAA, a local Insurance and Banking company.
After marrying and working 7 years, she transitioned into full time wife and mother, leaving her position to run her own Texas Registered home childcare. She loves being a parent to three children, fishing, baseball games, drawing and bringing energy to the room.
She went back to work as a freelance website developer in 2014 and has been helping small to medium businesses develop their online branding and presence.
Having extended family who have experienced amputations, she appreciates what The Prosthetic Foundation does to advance amputees quality of living, as she has seen firsthand what happens when someone is not able to walk again. She is happy to aid in any capacity she can to further progress for The Prosthetic Foundation.

Sharon Lubianski
Finance Shared Services
Sharon Lubianski has more than 20 years of experience in Healthcare Finance. She is currently a Senior Accountant with Peripheral Vascular Associates.
She feels honored to help and volunteer with The Prosthetic Foundation for the last 4 years and has enjoyed giving back to the community.
Along with The Prosthetic Foundation, she volunteers with the MS Society and the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. She loves spending her free time with family and friends.

Lorraine Garcia
Operations Support
Lorraine Garcia has worked as a Billing Support Specialist and Custodian of Billing Records for Peripheral Vascular Associates since 2010.
She earned her Bachelors degree in English from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, TX.
She has supported The Prosthetic Foundation for the past 6 years, volunteering with the application process, working with applicants and prosthetic companies and planning Gala events.
She lives in San Antonio with her husband of 38 years and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren. She comes from a large family with four brothers and four sisters, one of which is her twin – older by three minutes. Family is very important to her as she believes patience and love are the keys needed to help families stay together.
Her gift is also in her philosophy – “I believe in giving 100% of myself, both personally and professionally, so that I won’t regret what I will leave behind – and that feeling is absolutely beautiful!”

Paige Rodriguez, MBA
San Antonio Metro Captain
Paige Rodriguez has 16 years’ experience in healthcare and is currently the Associate Vice President of Physician and Provider Relations with Methodist Healthcare.
She holds a master’s in business administration from The University of Texas at Tyler and a bachelor’s in public relations from The University of Texas at Austin.
Working in hospital systems in San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas, she has seen the consequences of uninsured and underinsured in Texas.
She is honored to be part of the Prosthetic Foundation that gives hope back to those in need. Paige is married and has three children to whom she emphasizes the values of compassion, treating everyone with respect, speaking out for those without a voice, and giving back to those less fortunate.

Don Driver
Dallas / Fort Worth Metro Captain
Don Driver, Don began working with prosthetics in west Texas in 1992.
He is a graduate of New Mexico State University and later attended Northwestern University Medical School’s Prosthetic-Orthotic Center, where he earned his Certificate in Prosthetics. He has been a practicing Prosthetist ever since.
Don and his wife, Ann, have three children and three grandchildren. They have recently relocated to the Dallas / Fort Worth area and live in Plano and enjoy volunteering their time for Church and community activities. Additionally, Don accepted to serve the North Texas community as our DFW Metro Captain for The Prosthetic Foundation. We are excited to have him serve amputees and can’t wait to see his team’s work in the area. Welcome Don!

Maureen Balcazar
West Texas Captain
Maureen Balcazar is the West Texas Captain for The Prosthetic Foundation.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Master’s degree in Nursing Administration in 2019. She is pursuing a post-master’s degree at the University of Texas at Tyler to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She has been a registered nurse for ten years and worked in a variety of settings within the healthcare arena. Her background in nursing consists of pediatrics, geriatrics, mental health, home health, case management, and rehabilitation nursing. She is also board-certified case manager with the Commission for Case Manager Certification.
She works as a care coordinator for an inpatient rehabilitation floor at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. Maureen is a mother of two teenage daughters, ages 16 and 14, and one son, age 6. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and being outdoors with her kids. She chose to serve on The Prosthetic Foundation operations team to help limb loss survivors regain their freedom and independence.

Erika Woodard
Payroll Support
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Erika Woodard has over 15 years of Payroll Accounting experience.
Raised as a “military brat”, she and her close-knit family have called Texas home for more than 20 years.
She is very proud and delighted to be affiliated with The Prosthetic Foundation on both its financial and community ends.
